Tracey Hawkins is an award-winning children’s author. Her picture book Nancy Bentley, The First Female Sailor was shortlisted for the Speech Pathology Book of the Year Award in 2012. Max Meets a Monster, her latest picture book, has been featured on BBC TV show CBeebies. Tracey is an ambassador for the ACT chief Minister’s Reading Challenge. and is a May Gibbs Children’s Trust Fellow.
Anil Tortop is an illustrator, designer and animator. She has a degree in animation and has illustrated more than 30 books. Anil has also designed, illustrated and animated apps, TV, Games and multimedia education materials. Other children’s books illustrated by Anil include: Scaredy Cat (New Frontier Publishing), The Great Zoo Hullabaloo! (New Frontier Publishing), and Meeka! (Bluebell Books).
