Kate Gordon grew up in a small town by the sea in Tasmania. She received the 2016 IBBY Ena Noel Award and has been published internationally. In 2018, Kate was shortlisted in the Dorothy Hewett Awards for an Unpublished Manuscript, and was commended in the 2018 Vogel’s Awards. Her young adult title, Girl Running, Boy Falling, was longlisted in the CBCA Awards 2019. Juno Jones Word Ninja is Kate’s first series for younger readers.
Sandy Flett is the creator/presenter of the internationally successful YouTube channel, Kids Art School. She also has a story in the forthcoming anthology Spooktacular Stories (Share A Story; October 2019). When she’s not drawing, Sandy spends time with her family, her dog, and works as an occupational therapist.
